This program runs in a three month minimum, and our goal is deep change. Your horse will spend the necessary amount of time in full training with Justin to ensure they are as safe as possible for you. During this time you will work weekly with Dr. Paul to take a deep dive into your psychology; exploring ways to overcome roadblocks, build confidence, and progress toward your goals.

When you and your horse are ready, we all come together to help you rebuild your confidence and relationship with your horse.

Yes! Owner involvement is incredibly important for our process. We just ask that you schedule in advance so we can be sure to align our schedules. We want to be available for you to ask questions and watch your horse work.

The simple answer is… yes. The more complete answer is that not all fear and anxiety are the same. There are times when our fear and anxiety signal real danger to ourselves.  There are other times when there are few real dangers but it still gets in the way of enjoying our riding.  There are times when it is associated with a trauma response. Each of these situations requires a different approach. At Riding Far we help you understand the nature of your anxiety and fear and have the expertise and resources to guide you to solutions regardless of the source and nature of your fear.
